VOODOO ISLAND Optical vibrato.
Its getting exotic here by Made by Mystery as the wobbly sea stream pushes us in the shores of Voodoo Island.
This is a subtle to wobble Vibrato pedal that creates an on going tremolo like vibration along with a slight shift in pitch.
It reminds us of the old Magnatone amp style vibrato which was much more three-dimensional then other basic tremolo effects.
Controls:
Input jack is to the right.
Output jack is to the left.
Speed knob: (right) controls the speed. Underneath it a toggle switch to change between different speed rates.
Ranging from slow intervals to more consistent wobbles and further towards flickering fast.
Depth knob: (left) controls the amount of vibrato from almost none at all to more vibrant ripples.
Voodoo Island is equipped with high-grade components. It offers your initial signal a pure analog vibrato without any unwanted coloration.
A treasure island indeed! A must have on every pedal board.
The special bright/diffused flat-head indicator LED gives the most beautiful and very pleasing blue light we know available.
So what else? It seems that what started as a side project, is now a very loved and wanted device by many.
Voodoo Island creates special exotic vibrations that everyone loves and is great for the Kill Bill kind of chicken pickers and country lovers.
It runs on 9V with standard negative center and is true bypass.
Use chargers with low mA current flow for best results.
