HEAVY CANDY Mini Clean Booster/ Destroyer
THIS VERY CLEAN BOOSTER:
Frustrated from boosters that overdrive the Signal parallel to their amplification, we wished for a booster that actually stays clean no matter how hard you drive it. This one is built to give more volume without overdriving anything even with many activated pedals in the chain or when running an amplifier on loud settings. Place Heavy Candy in the end of your chain and enjoy a big clean decibel bump whenever needed.
The Heavy Candy is totaly transparent and is even equipped with a tone control knob on one side to accentuate bass or treble if necessary
The DESTROYER SWITCH:
By pulling the toggle switch, the mini submarine hits an iceberg and the guitar sounds like it is fighting for its life but somehow very cool.
Acid soda pop for decaying teeth with serious cavity if you can imagine the Sound we where going for...
Technically speaking, the circuit's foundation totally collapses resulting in a pure ruin.
This special kind of ruin creates crude breakups of some notes and a deathblow to tone sustain.
Hear how single notes fight for their life and how chords just crumble away and suddenly die.
I am always surprised how great it feels to play the guitar like this out of an amp with brighter features...
It's not overdrive, distortion or fuzz = it's pure ruin and might not work so well with some guitar pickups but definitely with most of them.
Controls:
Input jack is to the right.
Output jack is to the left.
Turning knob: a standard Fender-style volume knob with numbers from 1 to 10 or a huge BOSS style turning knob that is fun to turn.
Toggle switch: changes between destroyer and booster.
Analog and true bypass. Use 9V with standard center negative.
Place at the end of the pedal chain for best results!
